Your Business Profile in DealTrail is the foundation of your account, storing essential details about your company, branding, and contact information. Maintaining an accurate and complete Business Profile ensures consistent communication with your leads, clients, and team members.
Key Features of the Business Profile
1. General Information
Purpose: Store key information about your business.
Details to Include:
• Business Name (Friendly and Legal)
• Business Logo
• Website URL
• Business Contact Email
• Business Phone Number
• Branded Domain
• Business Website
• Business Niche
2. Business Physical Address
Purpose: Add your company’s physical location for correspondence and verification.
Details to Include:
• Street Address
• City, State, Zip Code
• Country
• Time Zone
• Platform Language - The selected language will be used by the system as default.
• Outbound communication language for custom values - This language is used for outbound communications for custom values.
Supported Languages: English, English(Country Specific), Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Spanish, Danish

Purpose: Assign a legal representative to act on behalf of your business.
Details to Include:
• Representative Name
• Job Title/Position
• Contact Email

5. Call & Voicemail Settings
Purpose: Manage inbound call handling and voicemail configurations.
Key Settings:
• Call Timeout: Set the duration before a call is forwarded to voicemail or other options.
• Voicemail Greeting: Upload a custom greeting or use the default system message.
6. General Settings
Purpose: Manage platform-wide settings for your account.
Key Settings:
• Allow Duplicate Opportunity - Enables multiple opportunities for the same contact in the pipeline.
• Merge Facebook Contacts by Name - Prevents duplicate contacts by merging entries with matching names from Facebook.
• Disable Contact Timezone - Disables timezone-specific settings for contacts.
• Bot Detection Preventing Statistics Increment and Automation Execution - Prevents bots from skewing stats or triggering automations.
• Mark Emails as Invalid Due to Hard Bounce - Automatically flags email addresses as invalid if a hard bounce occurs.
• Gather Intelligence on Unknown Phone Numbers - Allows the system to identify additional information for unknown numbers.
• Verify Email Address When First Email is Sent to a New Contact - Automatically verifies email validity when sending the first email to a contact.
• Make SMS Compliant by Adding an Opt-Out Message - Includes a default opt-out message (e.g., “Reply STOP to unsubscribe”) in SMS.

7. Contact Deduplication Preferences
Purpose: Avoid duplicate entries in your CRM.
Key Options:
• Allow Duplicate Contact - Enables the system to allow the creation of duplicate contacts.
• Find Existing Contacts Based on - Configures the primary field to use for detecting duplicate contacts.
Available Options:
- Email: Checks for duplicates using the email address.
- Phone Number: Matches contacts based on their phone number.
• Second Preference for Search (Optional) - Sets a secondary field for deduplication if the primary field does not find a match.

8. Missed Call Text Back
Purpose: Improve customer communication by automatically responding to missed calls.
How It Works:
• Enable this feature to send an automated text message when a call is missed.

1. Access the Business Profile Section:
• Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
• Select Business Profile.
2. Fill in the Required Fields:
• Enter your business information, logo, and branding details.
• Configure your time zone and working hours.

• Once all fields are complete, click Save to update your profile.
